Crane Services
Our crane services specialize in the precise lifting and installation of materials directly on-site, with the flexibility to include or exclude transportation as needed. Each vehicle in our fleet offers a minimum of 8 metres of tray space, ensuring ample capacity for material transport.
Forklift Services
Our specialized Manitou and Moffett vehicles are designed to facilitate the on-site installation and movement of materials. Additionally, they are equipped for point-to-point delivery and efficient unloading of goods. With a minimum tray space of 8 meters, our fleet ensures reliable and ample capacity for your transportation needs.
Point to Point Delivery
Our point-to-point delivery service involves the efficient transport of materials, including loading and unloading at both ends using our equipment, if required. For deliveries within metropolitan Adelaide, we offer a straightforward hourly rate pricing structure, supplemented by a depot-to-depot charge for travel time (30 minutes each way).
We take pride in delivering your load precisely where it’s needed, whether to a second story, backyard, or over a fence—even when navigating obstacles such as trees or powerlines. Our modern fleet of vehicles enhances safety, efficiency, and the professional image of our clients. All our crane systems are remotely operated, and our trucks are equipped with GPS tracking for real-time monitoring.
While we cater to some of Adelaide’s leading building supply companies, we are equally dedicated to providing exceptional service to even the smallest jobs.
Specialised Crane Lifting
Our specialized crane lifting service is tailored for placing materials at commercial and residential locations. Our skilled operators are adept at upper-level lifting, including placing materials on scaffolds. All upper-level lifts comply with structural working load requirements and safety regulations, particularly when working near power or telephone lines.

On-site Forklift Work
Our fleet includes three reliable, road-registered forklifts, including two Manitou 625 machines and a Moffett M8. These machines are capable of precision material placement, including boomed-out installations at a distance. Our experienced operators excel in handling tasks on both on-road and off-road sites, including working on inclines and maneuvering in tight spaces.

Dry Hire
Unfortunately, we do not offer Dry Hire services. All our vehicles are operated exclusively by our highly qualified and licensed staff, ensuring the highest level of safety and professionalism.
Other information:
Although the majority of our work is in the Adelaide metropolitan area, Fork & Cranes Truck Hire’s fleet of heavy rigid vehicles is able to provide transport services most regional areas within approximately 500km of Adelaide.
Our new Semi Trailer, however, is interstate-capable, and we are able to take loads to almost anywhere in Australia. We have already transported loads as far as the Pilbara mining region in Western Australia, and are able to provide you with a highly competitive quotation for your long-distance transport.
Please note that outside of a 50km radius of Adelaide’s CBD, there is a per-km distance element in our pricing to cater for the higher running costs per hour for long distance loads.

Fork & Cranes is committed to providing its staff with a safe working platform. In consultation with the Business Community and in particular Business SA we have implemented our 2013 WHS Policies and Procedures Package. This package defines our policies and procedures for common workplace health and safety issues, and ensures that our staff are well educated in respect of safety, which is especially paramount when working in and around construction sites.
Fork & Cranes is also a member of CICA – The Crane Industry Council of Australia. This membership allows us to access safety initiatives and on-going development of relevant safety procedures. We are also able to access CICA safety products including Safety Manuals, Log Books and training simulators. Sharing this information via Newsletters, Websites and Emails is vitally important to promoting a safer environment. In addition, being a member of CASA – Crane Association of South Australia – has enabled our staff to attend meetings to share information on safety and vote to implement new strategies for a safer crane industry.

Finally our staff are all required to qualify and then maintain licenses to perform “High Risk Work” these include, Crane Operations, Dog-man duties, Materials Hoists operations, Traffic Management , Scaffolding. All of our staff are trained to ensure they meet all compliance requirements for all aspects of their roles.

Delivery Policy
After ordering the service, you will receive an email confirmation from eWAY containing your order details (if you have provided your email address). We will normally confirm receipt of your order within a few minutes of ordering. We will attempt to send your goods via within working days; however if goods are unavailable delivery will take a little longer.
